The first weekend in October, at Sarah McGarvin Intermediate School in Westminster, the OSA League delivered another thrilling round of matches packed with passion, intensity, and plenty of goals.
The day kicked off with a powerful statement from Maquina U14, who dominated Azteca FC in a 5–0 win. From start to finish, Maquina controlled the pace, showing their technical precision and teamwork. Their attacking trio was unstoppable, putting on a clinic of organized, high-pressure soccer.
Keeping that same energy, the Maquina U16 squad followed up with another strong performance — a 5–1 victory over Azteca FC. Despite Azteca’s resilience and a late goal, Maquina’s speed and creativity in the final third were simply too much to handle.
In one of the most exciting games of the day, Maquina U14 faced off again, this time in a thrilling 4–4 draw against Xolos Indio Desert. It was a back-and-forth battle where both sides refused to back down, with Xolos answering every Maquina goal with one of their own. Fans were treated to non-stop action and pure competitive fire.
Rounding out the weekend, TFA made a major statement with a commanding 6–0 win over Gauchos. Their organized play, relentless attack, and airtight defense showed why they’re one of the teams to watch this season.
From start to finish, the energy in Westminster was electric — players, coaches, and families all came together to celebrate what OSA is all about: high-level competition, community, and the love for the game.
As the season continues, teams are finding their rhythm, rivalries are heating up, and the road to the top of the table is just getting started.
