Pedro Magallon

League President
pmagallon@osa-us.com

Pedro Magallon has dedicated his life to growing and strengthening the soccer community in Santa Ana and beyond. At just 17, he founded the first Ramos Soccer team, Los Amigos FC, bringing together friends from high school to share their passion for the game. As his team and others struggled to find fields, he co-founded the Santa Ana Youth Soccer Association (SAYSA), serving first as vice president and then as president for over 17 years. Under his leadership, SAYSA became a cornerstone of youth soccer development, co-hosting the Jarritos Cup for over six years and achieving regional and national championship success. Pedro also played key roles in various organizations, including serving as vice president of the Santa Ana Soccer Association (SASA-Adults) and president of Santa Ana Youth Soccer United.

Pedro’s impact extended into professional soccer as well. He was one of the first three owners of Santa Ana Winds FC, competing in the National Premier Soccer League (NPSL), and later became a founder and owner of Atlante Santa Ana, a third-division professional team in Mexico, with a roster composed mostly of Santa Ana talent. The team played a historic friendly against the Mexican U-17 national team at the Santa Ana Bowl. His influence continued as general manager of Ozzy’s Laguna FC in the USL PDL and as president of Team 90 League, formerly SAYSA. Pedro also played a key role in La Maquina FC, a project he remains involved in today. His contributions to the sport go beyond the field—he co-organized Super Soccer Expo, one of the biggest soccer events of its time, attracting sponsors like Univision and Budweiser and drawing over 6,000 attendees. With a legacy of winning tournaments, building teams, and shaping the soccer landscape, Pedro continues to be a driving force in the game.

Pedro’s extensive experience in team management, league leadership, and event organization equips him with the expertise to drive OSA’s growth, strengthen its competitive presence, and expand its influence within the soccer community.

Carlos A. Torres played a key role in the early digital presence of the LA Galaxy, helping to create and manage the team’s website during Major League Soccer’s formative years. As one of the league’s original clubs, the Galaxy needed a strong online platform to engage with fans, provide team updates, and establish its brand in a rapidly evolving digital landscape.
