The 2026 OSA Female Invitational brought an exciting weekend of girls’ youth soccer to Westminster, California, on August 29–30. Talented teams from across Southern California competed with passion, determination and sportsmanship while celebrating the continued growth of the girls’ game.
From the opening matches through the final championship celebrations, players delivered an impressive display of skill, teamwork and competitive spirit. Families, coaches and supporters created an energetic tournament atmosphere as seven champions were crowned across the U8 through U16/17 divisions.
Chelsea OC captured the U8 championship after a strong tournament performance, with Legends FC finishing as finalists. In the U11 division, Desert Communities Soccer Club (DCSC) earned the title over finalists Lynwood FC.
TAFC secured the U12 championship, while Capistrano FC concluded an excellent tournament as finalists. Las Futboleras claimed the U13 title, with Whittier Area Youth Soccer (WAYS) earning finalist honors.
DCSC added a second championship to its successful weekend by winning the U14 division, followed by finalists Athletic Soccer Club. Athletic Soccer Club then reached the top of the podium in the U15 division, with Strikers FC Irvine finishing as finalists.
Athletic Soccer Club completed an outstanding weekend by also capturing the U16/17 championship. Sporting California concluded a strong tournament run as the division finalist.

The weekend was about more than tournament results. It provided young athletes with an opportunity to compete, grow in confidence, build lasting memories and demonstrate the bright future of the women’s game.
