In addition to the championship trophy, the Los Angeles-based club also walked away with a $10,000 prize for their triumph.
The decisive moment came in the 15th minute, when Jesus Vazquez found the back of the net with a clinical finish, giving Mesoamerica-San Carlos the lead. From that point forward, the OSA champions showcased their tactical discipline and defensive resilience, stifling Oxnard FC’s attacking threats while maintaining control of the game.
Despite Oxnard FC’s relentless pursuit of an equalizer, Mesoamerica-San Carlos remained composed, demonstrating their championship pedigree with solid defending and well-coordinated counterattacks. Both sides created promising scoring opportunities, but in the end, the early goal proved to be the difference, sealing the title for Mesoamerica-San Carlos.
