Scouting Showcase

We also hosted our exclusive Scouting Showcase, where official scouts from Liga MX giants Club América, Club Puebla, and FC Juárez came to evaluate top talent across from our olders divisions. It was an incredible opportunity for players to be seen on a professional level — and many rose to the occasion! In all, close to 30 players were identified and will be provided with an opportunity to visit the appropriate teams for trials.

A girls scrimmage was also held in conjunction with our boys showcase where two girls teams from Santa Ana United displayed their skill and talent for Oscar Maturin, the official scout from Club América. Maturin took a very hands-on approach, providing valuable information and advice before the game, at halftime and post-game, advice that’s invaluable from scouts of that caliber.

⚠️ On Saturday, we experienced a moment of concern when reports surfaced of ICE agents in the surrounding neighborhood. Our OSA staff responded immediately and decisively — canvassing the neighborhood, confirming the safety of our surroundings, and locking down the facility to ensure the protection of all teams, families, and guests. As always, the safety and security of our community remains our top priority.

Thank you to every player, parent, coach, volunteer, and partner who made this weekend so special. The passion, pride, and unity on display showed why OSA is more than a league — it’s a movement.

💬 Stay tuned for more events, scouting updates, and future opportunities.

Until next time — We Are OSA.
