After an exciting weekend of action, nine teams were crowned champions at the 2025 OSA Union Cup Mother’s Day Tournament last May, also in Westminster. Teams from all over the Southland came together to compete against the region’s top talent.
Scouts from Liga MX teams and MLS were in attendance to watch players and invite elite players to their training grounds. Scouts from teams like Atlético San Luis, Club Tijuana, LAFC, Puebla, Pumas UNAM, as well as player representatives from HIJAR, spoke to several players about furthering their scouting process. Among the list of players who are taking the next step in their playing careers, are the following OSA players:
• Marcos Chavez (La Esperanza)
• Yahir Arellano (La Esperanza)
• Victor Balderas (Maquina FC)
• Brandon Procopio (Maquina FC)
• Leandro Chueluca (Maquina FC)
• Sergio Cardenas (Maquina FC)
